Dubai Unveils New Khor Al Mamzar Beach with Round-the-Clock Night Beach
Dubai’s Khor Al Mamzar Beach has officially opened to the public as part of the first phase of the larger Al Mamzar Beaches development project, marking a major upgrade to one of the city’s key coastal destinations.
The redevelopment has transformed the area into a more modern, accessible, and family-friendly beachfront. One of the main highlights is the 3.6 km continuous swimming shoreline, designed to give visitors more space for safe swimming, leisure activities, and beach sports along a well-managed coast.
Another key feature is the 300-metre dedicated night beach, which operates 24/7, allowing residents and tourists to enjoy swimming and relaxation even after sunset. This includes improved lighting, safety systems, and enhanced facilities to support nighttime access.
The project also focuses on improving overall visitor experience, with upgraded walkways, better beach infrastructure, shaded areas, and enhanced cleanliness and safety standards. It is part of Dubai’s wider effort to expand public beach access and create more year-round outdoor leisure spaces.
Overall, this first phase signals the beginning of a larger transformation of the Al Mamzar coastline into a modern, sustainable beachfront destination.
