9-DAY BREAK FOR PUBLIC SECTOR EMPLOYEES
UAE has announced 1-week Eid al Fitr holiday for all government employees, starts from Monday, April 8, 2024, until Sunday, April 14, 2024. That means employees will enjoy 9-day long holiday combining the weekend of April 6 and April 7 into the break period.
The regular working hours will resume on Monday, April 15, 2024.
The actual first day of Eid Al Fitr will be announced after the moonsighting.
Officials have yet to declare the same for public sector employees.
