Abu Dhabi, Sharjah Announces Free Parking For Hijri New Year

Saturday, July 30, will be an official paid holiday for all public and private sector employees in the UAE to mark the occasion of Hijri New Year (1444 AH).

Abu Dhabi and Sharjah has announced free public parking to mark the occasion.

ABU DHABI

ITC, Abu Dhabi has announced free public parking with no toll charges during the holiday.

Surface parking spaces will be free of charge starting July 30 until 7:59am on August 1. Additionally, Mussafah Industrial area parking lot M18 will be free of charge during the official holiday.

ITC urged the public to adhere to the regulations regarding the resident permit parking bays from 9:00pm to 8:00am.

SHARJAH

Sharjah Municipality, on Thursday, announced free public parking during the holiday.
This decision excludes the parking zones that are subject to fees throughout the week, including Fridays and official holidays. The seven-day paid parking zones can be identified by the blue guiding panels installed below the parking signs.
